Mikaelah Michelle

Mikaelah Michelle Catindig is fondly called Mikhai by her circle of friends and relatives including her colleagues in her Rotary Club District.  This simple yet self-made lady has been in the fashion design business for 25 years.

This year, Mikaelah will be celebrating her silver anniversary in the couture world just in time for her first international fashion show in New York.

Mikaela Michelle

Mikaelah is considered by her loyal clientele as "a big fish in a small pond" as her natural talent, matched with her dedication to work and artistic skills in designing formal clothes made her a cut above the rest in her provincial territory.

Born and raised in Lipa city, province of Batangas in the Philippines, Mikhai's business acumen was naturally honed since her younger years as her parents established a small balut production that later became the largest supplier of balut in her home city.

Becoming a top favorite and go-to designer and maker of gowns and formal clothing was largely due to Mikhai’s penchant and attention to details, always leaving nothing to make her clientele more than happy and amazed.

She keeps at pace with the changing times particularly in the areas of designs and concepts. ‘Quality not quantity' has been her mantra in her couture business.

Despite her predilection and fondness for details she could single-handedly handle multiple tasks from sketching designs to putting up all the necessary trims, embellishments and small adornments necessary for the special gowns that she created.

Mikaelah is not new in designing and creating works of art for spectacles such as beauty pageants and special shows in her country including local and international beauty pageants.

The fashion show in New York “Opulence 2” is Mikhai’s way of validating her capabilities as a veteran fashion designer while sustaining her quest for excellence in the industry. # (A press release from Soraya Salonga, CEO of 7th S Productions.)
