Heartwarming accolades for Conversations with MM’s 1st anniversary

New York - Many thanks to our friends and family who expressed accolades for Conversations with MM (CMM) as the digital show turned one year old on May 11, 2023.
As its producer and host, I am humbled by the well wishes and feedback. They boost me to continue with this amazing media work. In the time of digital manipulations and fake news, I have reaffirmed my commitment to be the platforms of #narrativesoftruth in the local and global community.

Please continue to share your stories of struggles and triumphs to be part of social and cultural transformation. In this pleasurable work, the community enriches me and makes me learn every time I do my interviews and conversations.
During the 1st anniversary party of CMM at Filipiniana Restaurant in Queens.
During its first 12 months, CMM produced 58 episodes and three segments of Dear Tita Nieva, our community outreach hosted by Nieva Quezon. It is a product of Awesome Media Ltd. which also produces OSM! Online Magazine, its flagship product. OSM! Online Magazine is now 11 years in existence as a community and global digital news and feature magazine. I co-founded the e-magazine with my beloved angel daughter Leani Alnica Montebon Auxilio whose memory is my energy and inspiration.
Retired Philippine Ambassador Mario de Leon Jr., in his anniversary greeting, said that “only Marivir can draw out the real you in an informal and friendly setting.” As a journalist, that’s a crown of gold. Thank you so much, Amba!
My media partner for MarieGrace Media Grace Labaguis inspired CMM to continue interviewing “popular personalities in the community and in mainstream society.”
Immigration lawyer Licelle Cobrador, our first guest in the digital show, said she looks forward to seeing ‘more wonderful accomplishments.’ Tall order there!
Ukraine-born multi-awarded novelist Marina Rubin said, “she dared to ask about tough questions, about impostor’s syndrome, about New York post-covid. I thoroughly enjoyed our interview as I enjoyed all other interviews she did with members of the community.”
For the young people in my family like Jazzy Jumalon in Cebu, “the show was informative” while big brother CJ Jumalon was looking forward to more amazing shows.
Then there’s Malenn Auxilio-Yabo, an amazing Kpop dance coverist who reminded us to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Yes, please.
UN relations director of the Women’s Federation for World Peace Merly Barlaan said, “you did such a good job spreading positivity and hope in this world.”
